A few more FOs

Pattern: Rose Red, by Ysolda Teague. Size small.
Yarn: Berroco Ultra Alpaca, Redwood Mix.
Needles: size 6
Mods: none
Comments: This looked small on the needles.. After blocking over a 10 inch pie plate it is a little loose on me just as Kim predicted.
I did Jeny's surprisingly stretchy bind off knitting all the stitches. The cable made the edge a little ruffly.
It's a lovely pattern with very clear directions.

My walking group got together and made angels from the leaves a split leaf philodendron. Blogless Melody had all the goodies to decorate them with.

Pattern: Chibi Totoro, by brella, (Ravelry)
Needles: size 5
Yarn: cascade 220
This is an adorable pattern with a very clever popcorn tail. He will join ChuTotoro who lives with my hairdresser. He is posing with an odd shaped fingering purple potato.

Hello Kitty blanket number 2. I tried out my new sewing machine, Horizon 7700, with it's built-in walking foot. It's going to take awhile for me to get used to the new machine after years of sewing on the trusty Bernina. However, my 1530's display is going dim, and apparently that will be a major repair. The blanket is much more manageable size for a tiny 4 year old.

Finished Objects are nice when you are in the "homestretch". They are all amazing and I hope you are enjoying your new sewing machine!
