Reds and pinks for Project Specturm

I was experimenting with a new template and thought I said, keep the old but voila-I'm brown and orange now. I still have to figure out how to arrange the pictures I post other then just lining them up. I also have an ant running around inside my computer screen and don't know what to do.

I was amazed at how many reds and pinks were blooming around my neighborhood. There were more but it started to rain and the wind caused motion problems...another day.

The camoflage Jaywalkers are done and Totoros have ears. Little guy has eyes, but I wish I had a flat back Swarovski in black for Big ones eyes. I am trying hard not to go out for some because I was not a conservative shopper at the Mythos and Best Bead shows yesterday. The spring Interweave knits finally came in too.

The grand bead in the blue bracelet (oh my how did that sneak in?) was made by Alethia Donathan of Dacs Beads. I made few more stitch markers including one for the big needles a couple of earrings, too.

The Lion's flapper hat is made form some pink stuff I had lying around. No matter what I make with this yarn, I don't like it. I'm bagging it up to take back to Savers! The boys grandmother made the carebear years ago. I sprinkled the silk flowers from the silk flower madness chapter of my life around to detract from the silly hat.

Now where is that pink cotton yarn I swapped for from Keohinani?

Thank you so much for the beautiful flower pictures - it's still winter here in Connecticut so your flower fix was much welcomed!!!! I love all your beaded projects too - sounds like the bead shows were wonderful. Good luck with the little ant - it didn't even occur to me they could get into the computer screen, but I guess the little ventilation holes are the perfect doorway for them!

You have the most beautiful garden! Beautiful pics of all the red and pink blooms. I really like your new template, too! Of course I loved the green, but I like the look of this brown and orange. Makes me want to fiddle around with mine, too...but I'm too chicken that I'll wind up losing everything! Your blue bracelet is absolutely stunning- so gorgeous!! And I love your stitch markers and earrings, too. You always make the most beautiful jewelry. Cute hat! Didn't you make a shrug out of that pink yarn once? Can't wait to see your Jaywalkers and Totors!! And that's so funny about the ant...I never knew that they could get inside the screen!! Well, without food in there...it's just a matter of time, right? ;-) Take care and have a great Sunday, Barb! :-)

I hear ya on the ants. We have so many of them at our house, especially after a rain and the first day my laptop arrived a bunch of them moved in!!

You must live in a gorgeous neighborhood because the photos are beautiful! Love the blue bracelet too!

Those are some GORGEOUS flowers! Our cherry trees are just starting to bloom, and I'm just loving it.

Sounds like your trip to the Big Island was great - chocolate dipped squid?!? Yikes!

Barb your pictures of beautiful blooms are always so beautiful! Love your jewelry and stitch holders! You go girl! My friend told me that I missed the bead show while I was in the mainland - sigh. Love your new look! Green is one of my very fav colors, but change is always nice. Our ants have disappeared for some reason. They will be back though - I'm sure of that!
