Watermelon Socks

Watermelon socks
Dublin Bay Pattern , on 64 stitches

I just have ends to weave in then they are done. A really nice simple pattern. The Sunshine yarn is very substantial and cuddly. I love the colors and the random patterning.

I'm going to pick your brain about fitting for the OSW...I'm worried that I'm making it too small!!

Those look great!

I've been meaning to ask you- is there anything I can bring from the mainland? I would be more than happy to bring stuff over, as I'll need room in my suitcase for souveneirs anyway...:)

Answer to your comment on my blog: Yes, Mission Falls 1824 Wool is soft, not like the Cashmerino but definitely soft enough for my family and me to wear around our necks. It is really nice to work with, but it GROOOOOWS when washed so do some serious swatching before doing your calculations. Also, I found I like it much more if it's knit with a rather dense gauge. --Sylvia

I love pink and green. The colors scream "Summer is here!" to me.
