Aaah, Diversions

It comes as no surprise to me anymore how I can wile away the minutes (okay, hours) surfing the Net. Here are some new places I went to today and there is so much amazing creativity, and insight out there.

Knitting Escapism
split yarn
Big Girl Feet
street and YOs
Warning, x-rated

I have my two Lush sleeves 1/3 done, and have started the Multidirectional Scarf in Noro Silk Garden. I just love the way the colors show up. There are a bunch of pictures of the scarf on the split yarn site.

After watching the video on the Magic Loop technique feel an impulse to buy really long Addi Turbos. My only salvation is that Isle Knits is closed on Sunday.

Can't wait to see your scarf-I have been wanting to start one myself but keep putting it off. Maybe seeing yours will motivate me, because I need to start yet another knit ;o)!

And they're closed on Monday, too, thank goodness for your credit card! :-) (Take me with you, take me with you!) Someday I'll get around to Magic Loop and/or 2 circs. I know they're supposed to be life-altering, but I'm so old-fashioned. :-P I know what you mean about surfing the net- J just rolls his eyes whenever he sees me on the computer these days. Can't wait to see your scarf- are you making it with the Noro you bought at Yarn and Friends? Thanks for the links, too- though I'm a little nervous about the X-rated site. :-)

Hee, hee! I clicked on the x-rated link first - what does that say about me? Those knitted body suits are too funny.

I just bought myself a long Addi but haven't had the guts to put it into action yet. Soon, soon!
