Cascade Bulky Totoro in the shop

Blogless Michelle got a bunch of us at Aloha Knitters obsessing on the zig zag lines that show up in intarsia. On this Totoro, his white Malabrigo front is done in intarsia, which I've been experimenting with. I did the color change steps on the purl side, which seems a little better to me. The steps are inherent in intarsia. I don't know how to knit a half stitch like in cross stitching.

Needles: size 6 DP

I have some Beaverslide in the mail. Namea at Aloha Yarn did not have any heathered Cascade 109. I think it only comes as a solid and Tweed.

Perhaps I'll soak or felt the next one. After the intarsia was done, I switched to knitting in the round. Small features were needle felted on.

Hi, were you at Aloha Yarn last week? I was sitting on the sofa, knitting something that should have been done three days earlier. Anyways, nice to have sort of met you! I like your maneki neko stitch markers. If you ever make it over the Pali again please bring them. I think there's definitely a knitting bag that needs them! Happy knitting!

Thanks, syl!

Dee, blogger does not provide email addresses for me to follow up. Yes that was me at Aloha Yarns. Did you finish your lace?

I didn't finish the lace yet...long story short...I didn't realize Swavorski crystals were so (&^%**!, ahem, expensive. I'm back at work on the unadorned version.

I don't have a blog, but I post pictures of my knitting stuff (and my super cute dog IMHO) on Facebook. Hope to see more Totoros and cute stitch markers!
